Thaumatrope
To create this thaumatrope, I first broke number symbols into their shared and unique parts. I then created a device using wood, steel, magnets, and vinyl, that could spin like thaumatrope to reveal how different combinations of seemingly meaningless symbols would reveal a whole number.
